athome labhome
In-house product development
and quality research lab.
athome obsessively focuses on the customer more than anyone else, starting its product planning by thoroughly analyzing the customer and identifying their inconveniences. Based on the insights gained here, the internal development team plans and develops products independently, and the quality research lab directly manages the quality and after-sales service in the home appliance field.
athome Reliability Quality Testing Lab.
LabHome, composed of quality control experts with over 15 years of experience, not only elevates the quality of athome solutions to the highest level but also provides clear and correct standards to help customers raise their expectations when selecting products.

List of Major Equipment
in the Reliability Testing Lab
To ensure product reliability, we systematically
and comprehensively manage the entire testing
process, including research personnel, testing
facilities, and testing methods.
  • Withstanding Voltage/Insulation Resistance Tester
An electrical safety testing device that measures how much voltage can be applied between two conductors or metal parts without failure.
  • Ground Continuity Tester
An electrical safety testing device that measures if all hazardous voltages are safely conducted to the ground before current can flow through the human body in case of voltage failure or contact with dangerous voltage parts.
  • Leakage Current Tester
An electrical safety testing device that measures the leakage current when the insulation material of electrical equipment deteriorates or is mechanically damaged, preventing potential electrical fires and electric shocks.
  • Electrostatic Discharge Tester
A testing device that measures the performance of electrical and electronic equipment affected by electrostatic discharge.
  • Power Consumption/Current Tester
A measuring device that confirms the power consumption and standby power of electrical and electronic products.
  • Voltage Fluctuation Tester
A voltage regulator that supplies a constant input power and can vary the output voltage.
  • Noise Tester
A testing device that measures the declared noise levels emitted by household and similar appliances.
  • Temperature Recorder Tester
A testing device that measures and records temperature changes at various points on a product (up to 12 points).
  • Vernier Caliper
A device that precisely measures the dimensions of products and parts.
  • Infrared Thermometer
A device that measures the temperature of an object by directing an infrared laser gun at it for non-contact temperature measurement.
  • Constant Temperature and Humidity Chamber Tester
A testing device that generates specific temperatures and humidity levels within a defined space to test product durability (Chamber Temperature: -30℃~80℃ / Chamber Humidity: 95%).
  • Push-Pull Gauge
A device used to measure the amount of force required to operate interlocking switches, buttons, or other components by utilizing pressure.
  • CAS Electronic Scale
A device for measuring product weight.
  • Tilt Test Jig
A jig used to evaluate the overturning of products at angles of 10 degrees/15 degrees when installing heating/electric equipment.
  • Abrasion Tester
A testing device that verifies the adhesion, peeling, and chemical resistance of printed and coated parts of products.
  • Ammonia Meter.
A device for measuring the odor of food waste processors.
    Gas type: Ammonia (NH3)
    Measurement range: 0~100PPM
  • Odor Meter (OMX-SRM)
A device for measuring various odors of food waste processors.
Detectable gases: Ethanol, acetone, hydrogen, etc.
    Odor intensity level: 0.0~999
  • VIBRATION TESTER
A measuring device that detects damage, breakage, or functional defects due to disassembly during packaging and transportation.
